The premise of Asr Distribution Co. starts a few decades back, when a young boy was curious about the box his dad put in the freezer. His dad told him it was the best chicken sausage on this side of the Mississippi, made by a family friend with a recipe passed down through generations. The boy tried the sausage, and readily concurred with the lofty acclaim. The family friend lived a good distance away from the boy, so the boy did not get to enjoy the sausage through his teenage and early adult years. But he never forgot the taste and the feeling he experienced when he first tried it. The years passed, and the boy became a man. He was immersed into the logistics and supply chain world by fortuitous chance, taking every opportunity possible to learn about different aspects of the industry and take on new responsibilities. One afternoon, while spending time with his dad, he learned that the family friend was now manufacturing the sausage commercially and actively looking for opportunities to expand. Soon after, he partnered with the family friend, and Asr Distribution Co. was born.
